The reason for the resignation of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's right hand from his position has been revealed. As it turned out, Josh Kettler served in the position as an intern.

Thus, the royal couple hired Josh shortly before their trip to Nigeria in May 2024. However, in early August it became known that Harry and Meghan's right hand left his post — the news came as a real surprise to the public, the NYT reports.

There were rumors that the employee simply resigned of his own accord, since the Duke and Duchess have had problems with hiring and working with staff in recent years.

As it turned out, Kettler's departure was by mutual consent. However, further planned trips with Josh hint that the situation could have come as a surprise to the king's son.

— The decision to part ways was mutual, both parties agreed that such a collaboration was not suitable, — the insider said.

By the way, the assistant's dismissal took place before Harry and his beloved's trip to Colombia, where they will meet with representatives of the local authorities.

A former employee of the royal family claims that Kettler was glad to get rid of the duties that the Duke's family imposed on him.

The monarch's son is also being turned away by his father – King Charles III – who is not answering Harry's calls. The whole point is that the Duke wants to ask his father to return his protection in the UK, fearing for the lives of his wife and children.
