Realme is preparing a new budget competitor for Redmi smartphones

Last week, the Realme smartphone with the model number RMX3942 was approved by Chinese certification platforms such as 3C and TENAA. Although TENAA revealed almost all the information about the new product, nothing was known about the appearance of the new product. However, this gap has now been closed.

It seems that the Realme RMX3942 has a regular screen with holes on the front panel. On the back of the device, there are two round islands for the camera sensors, with the company's branding below. The right edge houses the volume rocker and power button, which appear to be integrated with the fingerprint sensor.

According to the TENAA certification, the Realme RMX3942 measures 165.7 x 76.22 x 8.16mm and weighs 197 grams. On the front, it sports a 6.67-inch LCD panel with HD+ resolution. The smartphone will get an 8-megapixel camera on the front panel and one 50-megapixel camera with LED flash on the rear panel.

RMX3942 will have support for 5G networks. The battery will be installed with a capacity of 5465 mAh (nominal value). In China, the smartphone may arrive with RAM variants such as 4GB, 6GB, 8GB and 12GB and various storage options may be available including 128GB, 256GB, 512GB and 1TB. There is currently no word on whether this is the upcoming Realme 14 series or a V series phone for the Chinese market.

The 3C certification for the RMX3942 has revealed that it may come with a 45W charger. Interestingly, the 3C listing also reveals the existence of an unknown RMX3953 phone. While it is also expected to come with a 45W charger, there are no details on its other specs.
