Realme company introduced technology that charges a smartphone in less than five minutes

The Chinese company Realme introduced the world's fastest charging technology for smartphones, which allows you to fully charge the device in less than in five minutes.

The novelty, called 320W SuperSonic Charge, was announced on August 14 at the Realme 828 Fanfest in Shenzhen and is a significant step forward compared to previous record holders.

This technology, which has a power of 320 W, is able to charge a smartphone by 26% in one minute and 50% in less than two minutes. It takes just 4 minutes and 30 seconds to fully charge the device with a 4,420mAh battery, which is 25 seconds faster than the previous achievement set by Redmi in early 2023.

SuperSonic Charge technology works on the principle of simultaneous charging of several battery cells in one battery, which allows you to significantly speed up the process compared to traditional methods. For the demonstration, Realme used a battery with four cells folded into a complex structure, which allows to achieve 10% more capacity with smaller dimensions. Realme also presented a compact power adapter, which was named Pocket Cannon, with a power density of 3.3 W per cubic centimeter, which is much higher than previous models. The adapter supports charging other devices, such as the iPhone with a USB-C port, although not at such a high speed. In addition, the adapter is equipped with two USB-C ports, which allows you to charge two devices at the same time with a maximum power of 150 W for Realme smartphones and 65 W for laptops. To increase safety, Realme has developed a voltage transformer AirGap, which protects batteries from electrical malfunctions and extends battery life. This transformer reduces the voltage to 20 volts, providing a charging efficiency of 93%.

Thus, Realme has once again raised the bar in the field of fast charging technology, offering consumers incredible speed and safety.
