The Modini company from Great Britain presented the Dart 250EW reactive drone, designed specifically for destruction enemy electronic warfare systems.

As experts from the BuildingTech portal indicate, the new UAV is developed on the basis of the proven Modini Dart 250 jet drone, which ensured a high level of interchangeability of components and a high level of their availability, ArmiyaInform notes.

Dart 250EW is equipped with a set of modern sensors that allow it can hit EW complexes using the system of pointing at the source of interference. The key element of this system is the dual-frequency antenna installation and the patented Modini FX-2 Flight controller. It is this controller that makes the drone capable of autonomous detection, capture and targeting of a target operating in the radio frequency range.

The FX-2 Flight controller is responsible for managing all stages of the attack: from the initial detection of the source of radio waves to the accurate targeting of the target. Such a system allows you to effectively suppress enemy EW, minimizing risks for operators and other combat units.

Another important feature of the Dart 250EW is its Terrain following system, which allows the drone to automatically maintain a set flight height from 50 to 100 meters above ground level. This ensures the ability to covertly move the drone in difficult terrain conditions, which makes it hard to see for enemy radar stations.

According to the contributors to the mil.in.ua site, the flight speed of the Dart 250EW, presented at the MSPO2024 defense exhibition in the Polish city of Kielce, exceeds 400 km/h. This makes it extremely maneuverable and difficult for the enemy to see. Such a high speed allows the drone to quickly reach the area of ​​operation of enemy EW systems, guide and hit targets with minimum reaction time.

When the Dart 250EW enters the area of ​​operation of an enemy EW system, its FX-2 flight controller Flight is automatically guided to the source of obstacles by azimuth and altitude, ensuring accurate hitting of the target. This makes the drone a powerful means of suppressing enemy electronic warfare systems, effectively disrupting their work and opening the way for further actions by friendly forces.

Therefore, the Dart 250EW is an innovative solution in the field of electronic warfare, combining high speed, maneuverability and accuracy of guidance, which makes it one of the key tools on the modern battlefield. The manufacturer expects a certain demand for drones of this type, since the war in Ukraine demonstrated the need for a large number of inexpensive means for defeating enemy EW systems.
