The Royal Canadian Mounted Police in Manitoba (RCMP) are investigating 5 suspicious deaths in the south of the province. The victims were found in different locations, according to police.

In a press release, the RCMP indicates that they have arrested a suspect and that&#x27 ;there is no risk for the population.

RCMP spokesperson Tim Arsenault will provide an update on the investigation at a late afternoon news conference in Winnipeg.

Police warn, however, that the conference could cover “details that could be shocking to the media and the public.”

The RCMP mentions that the victims were found near Highway 3, near Carman and Winkler, near Highway 248 and in a residence located in Carman.
