Recently, Misha Privily together with Volodymyr Dantes presented the new song “Chester”. The track is a single from Misha's upcoming album All Names Made Up.

The track “Chester” featuring Dantes tells the story of a girl who faces depression and despair, but finds the strength to continue living at a critical moment .

“Chester” is about moments of internal struggle, thoughts about the meaning of life and finding the strength not to give up, despite all the complexity of the situation. The track reflects the difficult realities that people in Ukraine face, especially after the start of the full-scale invasion, when the topic of depression became especially relevant.

This song is about depression and thoughts that have been in the head of probably every one of us at least once, especially since 2022 against the background of all the upheavals that our country is going through. We tried to convey that feeling when it seems that there is no way out and everything has lost its meaning. But at the same time, I wanted to convey an important truth: even in the darkest moment, you have to live on and when it seems that everything is over, it is not so. For me, this is an important work (so much so that I release it on my birthday), because the topic that is sung about is not as often heard in the public field as I would like, it is unpleasant and difficult, people often bypass it, – says Misha Correct.

In the song “Chester”, the artists mention Linkin Park lead singer Chester Bennington, who, unlike the heroine of the track, could not cope with depression and decided to leave. The melody and last line of the chorus.

This song is special to me, because it is about the most important thing – about the moment when you find that spark that allows you not to give up. We all go through hard times, but it's at times like these that it's important to remember that each of us has the strength to keep fighting. I believe that this song can be a support for those who are now on the verge of despair, – comments Volodymyr Dantes.
