Forward Alex Beaucage will end the season with the Victoriaville Tigres, who acquired him from the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies in return for a first-round pick in 2022 and a seventh-round selection this year.
The Colorado Avalanche prospect has scored 14 goals in as many games this season with the Abitibi-Témiscamingue club. He added six assists, his 20 points making him the eighth scorer in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) at the time of the trade.
The Tigers are currently fifth on the Courteau Circuit in winning percentage, at 66.7%, with an 8-4-0 record.
Beaucage was a third-round pick for the Avalanche, the 78th overall selection, in the 2019 National Hockey League Draft.
