The attacker was born on December 24, 2000 in Santa Marta (Magdalena), Jesús Ferreira is the son of former soccer player David Ferreira, who in Colombia played for América de Cali, Santa Fe, Atlético Huila, among other clubs, while in football from abroad he was part of Athletico Paranaense (Brazil), Al-Shabab (United Arab Emirates) and FC Dallas of the United States.
At the age of 16, Jesús Ferreira was signed by FC Dallas, and made his professional debut on June 3, 2017 in a 6-2 win over Real Salt Lake. In that same match, the samarium scored his first goal with the Texan squad.
In 2016 he received his first call to join the United States under-17 team. With the senior team he received, he was called up in 2020 for a friendly match against Costa Rica, while his debut in the opposite network was with a goal poker for the 2022-23 Concacaf Nations League against Granada.
