After the probable death of the founder of the “Wagner” PVK Evgenia Prigozhina Russian dictator Vladimir Putin ordered all private military companies, including the “Wagnerians” to sign an oath of loyalty to Russia.

The corresponding order was published on the website of the Kremlin, reports Reuters.

The order obliges everyone who performs work on behalf of the Russian military  and supports what Moscow calls a “special military operation” to pledge allegiance to Russia.

The text says that this should “form the spiritual and moral foundations of Russia's defense”.

p>"Putin's introduction of a mandatory oath for employees of “Wagner” and other private military contractors was a clear step aimed at tighter state control over such groups,” the publication notes.
