Putin on Wednesday to discuss the situation in Syria with the heads of Iran and Turkey
MOSCOW (Reuters) – Russian President Vladimir Putin will discuss the situation in Syria with President of Turkey Tayyip Erdogan and his Iranian counterpart Hassan Rouhani during a video conference on Wednesday, said press Secretary of the Kremlin Dmitry Peskov.
“The Kremlin can confirm this information,” – said Peskov.
Russia, Turkey and Iran are members of the so-called Astana format, the aim of the negotiations within the framework of which is the peaceful settlement in civil war-torn Syria.
