the president of Russia, Vladimir Putin, at a meeting with the leader of the DNR, Denis Pushilin, for the first time commented on the accident of the Embraer plane in the Tver region, one of whose passengers was the founder of the “Wagner” Communist Party, Yevgeny Prigozhin.

< p>The head of the military company Prigozhina Putin “called a talented person with a difficult fate” who always achieved the “necessary results”. "Details" publish  the full text of the Russian dictator's comment on Prigozhin's plane crash.

As for this plane crash, first of all, I want to express my sincere condolences to the families of all the victims. It's always a tragedy. And indeed, if they were there – and it seems that the primary data indicate that there were employees of the “Wagner” company – I would like to note that these are people who made a significant contribution to our common cause of the struggle against the neo-Nazi regime in Ukraine. We remember this, we know it and we will not forget it.

I knew Prigozhin for a very long time, since the beginning of the 90s. This was a man with a complicated destiny, and his mistakes were serious in life, and he achieved the necessary results – both for himself and, when I asked him about it, for the common cause, as in these last months. He was a talented man, a talented businessman.

He worked not only in our country – and he worked successfully – but also abroad, in Africa, in particular. There he was engaged in oil, gas, precious metals and stones. As far as I know, he returned from Africa only yesterday, met here with some officials. – they have already started a preliminary investigation of this incident. It will be carried out in full and brought to an end. There are no doubts here. Let's see what the investigators will say in the near future. And now examinations are being conducted – technical and genetic examinations. It takes some time.
