The feeling of jealousy arises in a child when he observes the parental relationship. For example, he can identify himself with the deceived parent if the second decided to cheat. Deviant behavior that was considered the norm in the family, such as alcoholism or physical and sexual violence, also has a strong influence. Psychological trauma, lack of love and even genetics contribute to this.
In addition, jealousy often arises from self-doubt, a large number of complexes and extremely low self-esteem in sexual terms. Sometimes she can reach sadomasochism: a jealous woman is pleased with the torment she undergoes, looking for more and more evidence of the betrayal of the chosen one. Jealousy is often the result of a partner's neurotic need for control and provocative behavior.
