Traditionally, the number of protesters on the streets of Belarus increases on weekends. On Sunday, people gathered again in the center and headed for the elite neighborhood, where many officials are home. One of several residences of Lukashenka is located in the same village of Drozdy. The protection of the territory is provided by representatives of power structures. Warning shots were fired into the air near the property.
Eyewitnesses said that at first one column of protesters approached the cordon, then the number of gathered opponents of the head of the republic began to rapidly increase. The media report that about 30 pieces of equipment are moving towards Drozdy, including vans and trucks for transporting people.
