"Project Gerasim»: Ukrainians have created a unique monster truck from the trophy equipment of the occupiers

This real monster truck called "Project Gerasim» was born in the spring, but was shown the other day to the military of the 108th separate brigade of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. "Gerasim" has already become a real hero and a favorite of the personnel.

This unusual truck was created by the logistics platoon of the 98th battalion from fragments of Ukrainian and trophy equipment, but some of the parts and their connections were made by our own hands in a field workshop “among the bushes and acacias in the Zaporozhye bairaks”:

  • frame and the bridges were taken from the Kozak-2M armored car, the cabin — with GAZ-51, and hood from ZIL-157;
  • 2.5-liter turbodiesel and gearbox from Ford Ranger;
  • body from GAZelle, and wheels from Toyota Land Cruiser;
  • muffler and catalyst from Land Rover, tow bar from Mercedes ML;
  • crew seats from Ssang Yong Rodius;
  • a winch from the legendary Hammer, and also many bolts and nuts of domestic production.

«Powerful, maneuverable, roomy — universal, real combat “horse”; Cossacks, a reliable support of the steel infantry of Teroboron,  also worked as a combat “tachanka” with an air defense turret and destroyed enemy drones with a fire truck. Evacuates damaged equipment from the front. In many cases, it became the “transportation of life”: ammunition, food and water, which was especially needed in the abnormal heat, were delivered on this machine.
