Investing.com – The Kremlin has ordered people who are to meet in person with Russian President Vladimir Putin to serve two weeks of isolation, Project said, citing unnamed sources.
Among those who had to be for two weeks on self-isolation, “Project”, without specifying the sources of information, names the head of Rosmolodezh Alexander Bugaev, the head of Gazprom (MCX: GAZP) Alexei Miller and the general director of the United Aircraft Corporation Yuri Slyusar. The latter met with Putin on August 3, Miller on September 16, Bugaev on September 22.
In addition, an unnamed top manager of the state corporation told The Project that his meeting with the head of state is still planned, but he has already received a call from the Kremlin and warned that he will have to be in quarantine for two weeks.
The newspaper learned that one of the places of isolation are government dachas on Kosygin Street in Moscow. After the quarantine, their inhabitants were allegedly allowed to travel to Putin's Novo-Ogaryovo residence near Moscow. First, everyone who is isolated takes a coronavirus test. Until the results are ready, they are required to comply with strict quarantine and not leave their rooms. Then, if the test is negative, it is allowed to go for a walk.
Presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov did not answer the questions of the Project. However, in a comment to RIA Novosti, he said that the information about the strict quarantine before the meeting with Putin was not true. “In the presidential administration, as elsewhere, there are sick people, there are sick people, there are sick people — this is an inevitable process. There are no special quarantine measures, ”he said.
Putin is now in Novo-Ogaryovo most of the time: he switched to remote work there after the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic in the spring. Special disinfection tunnels are installed in the residence, through which all officials who meet with the president pass.
