Pro-Kremlin blogger Korniychuk sent to custody. Bail set at UAH 263,000

The Solomyansky District Court of Kyiv has chosen a preventive measure for pro-Kremlin blogger Dmytro Korniychuk.

“He is being held in custody for 60 days with the possibility of posting bail of 263 thousand UAH. The defense achieved a reduction in the amount of bail, but requested house arrest for the duration of the trial investigation.

Korniychuk does not admit the charges and claims that he does not have a permanent income,” the report says.

Recall that on January 18, 2025, the SBU informed Korniychuk of suspicion under Part 2, 3 of Article 436-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (justification, recognition as lawful, denial of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, glorification of its participants).

Also at that time, the SBU conducted searches at the home of Max Nazarov (Nazar Diorditsa), a former channel host of the godfather of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, Viktor Medvedchuk. He was informed of suspicion for justifying the Russian aggression and spreading the Kremlin's narratives.

On January 21, the court sent Nazarov to custody for 60 days with the alternative of posting bail in the amount of 12 million hryvnias.
