Private plane crashes off the coast of Latvia

A Cessna private jet en route from Spain to Germany crashed off the coast of Latvia in the Baltic Sea. Reuters reports with reference to the rescue service of Sweden.

NATO fighters based in Estonia were raised to intercept it.

According to the FlightRadar24 service, the Cessna 551 flew from the city of Jerez in southern Spain. Specific destination liner is unknown.

According to the Danish Air Force, their pilots could not see the crew of the – they assured that there was no one at the helm. Soon, the private liner lost control and fell into the sea. Previously, there were 4 people on board.
