The Popular Force caucus promotes the censorship of the Minister of Interior, Dimitri Senmache, and began the collection of signatures in the Congress for the escape of former Transportation Minister Juan Silva and the deaths for clashes between artisanal miners in Caravelí, Arequipa region.

In the draft of the motion, the holder of the Minister of “omission of functions and inability to manage” after the clashes in the Arequipa district of Atico, which to date have left 14 dead.

Likewise, he is accused of “serious functional responsibility” for “inaction and negligence” to locate and capture fugitives Juan Silva Villegas, Bruno Pacheco and Fray Vásquez Castillo, nephew of President Pedro Castillo.

In the same way, it is stated that Senmache, before the Audit Commission, has not complied with clarifying the facts, nor has it “answered suitably and fully” on the actions carried out by its sector to reverse the events .

“On the contrary, it has transferred the responsibility to the Public Ministry, ignoring that actions related to internal order and public order are the primary and exclusive competence of the ministry in charge”, it is indicated.

He also considers “reprehensible” that the minister stated that he could not follow up on Juan Silva because that required a court order, “forgetting on the one hand that he was responsible for video surveillance” and that the State security assigned to the former minister was under the jurisdiction of his sector.

“The events that have occurred are sufficient reasons for the current Minister of the Interior to leave the ministerial office before, due to his incompetence and inaction, they continue to happen more tragedies in the country that destabilize the Nation”, he emphasizes.

It should be noted that the requires the support of 33 members of Congress for the formal presentation of the motion of censure. After that, it will be reported in plenary and in the next session it will be debated.
