Polsat has fallen foul of viewers. Paulina Sykut-Jeżyna announced it after midnight!
As the “Goniec” portal reminds us, Polsat said goodbye to the old year and welcomed the new one with a bang. Many well-known and popular stars of the Polish music scene appeared on the stage in Toruń, including Doda, whose performance opened the New Year's Eve Power of Hits.
This is how Polsat welcomed the New Year
New Year's Eve and concerts organized by TV stations are behind us. Polsat organized New Year's Eve Power of Hits in Toruń. A galaxy of stars from the Polish music scene appeared on stage. Among the artists were Dawid Kwiatkowski, Roxi Węgiel, Smolasty, Zenek Martyniuk, Maryla Rodowicz, and Doda.
The last of the mentioned artists opened Polsat's New Year's Eve party. A few days before her performance, Doda announced that she would present something on the New Year's Eve stage that viewers had never seen before. It turns out that the singer had bought Latin dance lessons especially for this occasion and ordered a special sequined outfit.
And Doda did not disappoint. Her performance was full of dance, energy and pyrotechnics. There was really a lot going on. Unfortunately, the fans had some serious reservations about one thing. Which one?
The audience did not spare any unpleasant moments words
The audience did not spare any nasty words towards the organizers of the New Year's Eve Power of Hits. All because many of them missed Doda's performance. The concert started 10 minutes earlier than originally planned. Instead of 8 p.m., Doda's show started at 7:50 p.m.
“Hey, it was supposed to start at 8 p.m., but it's 7:50 p.m. and Doda is already on… you lied to us” , “Since when is 8:00 p.m. 7:53~63 p.m.~! Someone probably doesn't know how to read a clock… Very ugly” – these are just some of the many negative comments left by outraged viewers .
The station responded to the negative comments and at the end of the concert Doda appeared on stage once again and performed the opening number of the New Year's Eve concert, performing the entire complicated choreography.
