Police took Greta Thunberg from a protest. Activists staged an environmental protest in the abandoned German village of Lützerath.
The village in North Rhine-Westphalia is planned to be demolished to expand the coal mine . According to the court order, the settlement should be completely vacated by the end of January.
Swedish eco-activist Greta Thunberg arrived at the protest camp and condemned the law enforcement officers who were trying to disperse the protest.
The police simply Greta was taken away from the rally. For the entire duration of the protest, which has been taking place since January 11, almost 70 police officers.
According to the organizers, about 35 thousand people take part in the action. The police estimated the number at 8-10 thousand people.
