Police detained a Viber group administrator who warned about places where summonses were distributed: how he will be punished

In Ivano-Frankivsk region, suspicion was reported to the administrator of the Viber group due to obstruction of mobilization.

This was reported in the Telegram channel of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Prosecutor's Office.

He created a community in which he published information about the places where summonses were handed out.

The administrator of the group is a 51-year-old man. The community had almost 5,500 members.

«From January 2023 to November 2024, photo and video messages were systematically published in this group. This allowed conscripts to avoid receiving summonses», — the post says.

The man was charged under Part 1 of Art. 114-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for imprisonment for a term of five to eight years.
