Poland raised warplanes due to Russian missile strikes on Ukraine

The armed forces of Poland raised planes in response to the increased activity of Russian aviation and the threat of missile and airstrikes on the territory of western Ukraine.

This is stated in an official message on the page of the Operational Command of the Armed Forces of Poland in the social network X.

«Tonight, we are observing the activity of long-range aviation of the Russian Federation, which is striking with cruise missiles, as well as unmanned aerial vehicles complexes of the “Shakhed” type on facilities located, including in the western part of Ukraine, the message states. “Poland  about the possible increased level of noise associated with the flights of Polish and allied aircraft.

“All necessary procedures have been initiated to ensure the safety of Polish airspace, and the RSZ Operational Command is constantly monitoring the situation,”- emphasized in the command.

It is also noted that the last similar attack by the Russian Federation took place on the night of June 6-7.
