The Polish Council of Ministers has added a number of companies, including the private TVN and Polsat groups, to the list of strategic assets to prevent them from being bought by “enemies of the Polish state.”
The head of the Polish government, Donald Tusk, announced this during a briefing on Wednesday in Warsaw, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
As Tusk noted, at a meeting on Wednesday, the government adopted an order to include the group of private TV channels Polsat, TVN, mobile operators P4 and T-Mobile, as well as the defense-industrial complex company WB Electronics in the list of strategic objects.
According to Tusk, he would not want key companies in the telecommunications, energy or defense sectors to “fall into the hands of enemies of Poland.” state».
