Poland for the old MiG-29, which we would like to transfer to Ukraine, if we want to sell the current F-35 to NATO

Poland will be able to send another 10-15 of its low-level MiG-29s to Ukraine, if the gaps created by the transfer of these aircraft to Kiev are “closed.” Why does Warsaw need help from its NATO allies.

Pyotr Łukasiewicz stated this immediately about Poland’s confidence in Ukraine in an interview with Ukrinform.

Following his words, Warsaw is preparing various packages of assistance for Ukraine, and for the sale of the remaining two aircraft, Poland transferred spare parts and MiG-29 aircraft.

“We were actually the first to call on the allies to give you something more important for the Javelini– tanks, MiG-29 and older aircraft. The most important thing is how to ensure the “protection of clearings” for us. – This is such a Western term” – Having said Łukasiewicz.

The diplomat has confirmed that Poland still has about 10-15 such fighters, who are still being victorious as part of the PPO.

As of today, in his words, Warsaw is growing on a large scale transformation of military-insurgent forces, purchasing new products from partners – flights F-16 and F-35.

At the same time, having realized that the process is still going on, the country cannot afford to “waste a dozen MiG-29s, because they are considered unprotected.”

“As a strategic support Ukraine, we are calling on our allies both in the bilateral format and on the level of NATO, help us fill the gaps to create the transfer of MiGs. In essence, this means that our allies may send a small squadron of other aircraft to Poland, so that we can have the time to increase our power, so that we can transfer the MiGs that the Ukrainians need lotam” – adding Łukasiewicz.

It seems that the head of the Polish military, Donald Tusk, stated that Poland could transfer the MIG-29s to Ukraine, as if the NATO member states were ready to give up other aircraft.

As reported , the former Minister of National Defense of Poland, Janusz Onyszkiewicz, stated that Polish MiG-29 aircraft could appear in Ukraine in the near future. This is due to the terms of their replacement with the new American F-35.
