The Poles deserve the Nobel Peace Prize for helping the Ukrainians, reports RMF24.
Responding at a press conference in Poznan on Wednesday to a question about the continuation of Polish support for Ukraine, Polish Defense Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz said that “support and assistance must be in solidarity, and this is a bilateral principle.” He stressed that humanitarian and military assistance is unconditional.
According to him, the Poles deserve the Nobel Peace Prize for the assistance they provided to the Ukrainians after the start of full-scale Russian aggression against Ukraine, because “it was something… something extraordinary in the history and history of mankind.”
"Humanitarian assistance will continue – there are foundations, public organizations, very good activities of many people of good will, for which I thank you,”, – said Kosinyak-Kamysh.
Speaking about military support for Ukrainians, Kosinyak-Kamysh emphasized that it will also continue.
"This is our pragmatic approach – This is the defense of Poland, this is the strengthening of NATO’s eastern flank,” – said the minister.
"The more victories Ukraine has (…), the safer Poland will be, and this is part of our security strategy", – he summed up.
