Russian special services are likely behind a series of parcels that exploded at several courier points in Europe, the Polish prosecutor's office said on Friday. Packages that exploded at courier warehouses in Britain, Germany and Poland in July could have had serious consequences, officials said, including causing explosions on planes.
Intelligence officials said the packages were part of a plot to eventually cause explosions on cargo flights to the United States and Canada, Reuters reported.

According to Nowak, the Polish authorities are searching for two Russians and have already detained four Ukrainian citizens as part of the ongoing investigation.
“Intensive work is underway to identify the remaining persons involved in the aforementioned international group,” the Polish prosecutor's office explained in a statement. “These actions are being taken in cooperation with law enforcement agencies in other EU countries.”.
According to Nowak, the exploding parcels were sent from Vilnius.
