Photoshopped again: Another photo of the British royal family has been altered

>> British family/Kensington Palace

The American photo agency Getty Images said that they found traces of photoshop on another photo of the royal family of Great Britain. It shows the late Queen with her grandchildren.

This is a photograph of Queen Elizabeth II with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, taken by Kate, Princess of Wales, and released by Kensington Palace in 2023. This is reported by CNN.

The palace wrote that this photo was taken by Kate at Balmoral Castle in Scotland a few months before the queen's death. However, the recorded traces of Photoshop may indicate that the image is a collage of different pictures.

According to the analysis of the American TV channel CNN, signs of digital processing were found in 19 places. In particular, you can see that the light falls differently on all the participants in the photo, the pattern of Prince George's left sleeve and Princess Charlotte's hair on her right shoulder are blurred. The right part of the Queen's skirt is also blurred, and the pattern of the sofa is shifted elsewhere.

Kensington Palace declined to comment.

Earlier this month, the world's leading news agencies, Reuters and the Associated Press, retracted a previously circulated photograph of the Princess of Wales Kate with her children , as they revealed signs of digital manipulation. Kate later apologized for the “confusion” she caused and said she sometimes “experiments” with the photos.

This was the first official photo of Kate released by Kensington Palace since undergoing abdominal surgery in January. In a photo taken by her husband Prince William this week, Kate is pictured surrounded by their three children – George, ten, Charlotte, eight, and Louis, five.
