People were cheated for 2 million UAH – law enforcement officers exposed a criminal group

In the criminal scheme, he involved four performers who had previously been convicted of theft and fraud. He intimidated the perpetrators of his crimes so much that one of them even rewrite his apartment.

< P > Introducing the employees of leading Ukrainian mobile operators, the suspects offered citizens to protect their number from fraudsters. To do this, they persuaded the victims to rewrite the virtual card and pass the password from the mobile operator's application.

< P > Receiving this data, they used virtual mobile phone numbers of Ukrainians to enter their online banking and transferred the funds available there to their bank accounts.

< P > The organizer of the equipment is taken into custody, and other participants of the organized group have chosen a precautionary measure in the form of 24 -hour house arrest.

< p > pre -trial investigation is carried out by investigators of the Main Investigation Department for Operational Support of the Department of Strategic Investigations of the National Police of Ukraine together with the USSU in Ternopil region.
