The President of the Republic, Pedro Castillo, will inaugurate the “Peru Travel Mart 2022” and later will travel to the city of Tacna to lead the XVI Decentralized Council of Ministers.
First of all, the president will participate today in the opening ceremony of the “Peru Travel Mart 2022″ event, the largest international business conference of the tourism industry in Peru.
This activity that takes place annually, It will allow to strengthen the promotion of tourist destinations in the country, which constitutes a support for the policy of reactivation of the tourism sector and the promotion of employment.
The ceremony will also be attended by the Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism, Roberto Sánchez, and will take place at the Lima Convention Center, located in the district of San Borja, from 9:00 am.
Subsequently, Castillo Terrones will lead the XVI Decentralized Council of Ministers at the Modesto Basadre educational institution, in Tacna, within the framework of the work of decentralization that the Government has been promoting in different regions of the country.
The president will meet with regional and local authorities, as well as representatives of civil society and social organizations. The Chief of Staff, Aníbal Torres, and the 18 Ministers of State will also participate.
According to the official agenda, the working day will It will start at 9:00 a.m. and will begin with words of welcome from the provincial mayor of Tacna, Julio Medina Castro, followed by the regional governor of Tacna, Juan Tonconi Quispe, and the president of the Council of Ministers, Aníbal Torres< /b>.
