President Pedro Castillo speaks this Tuesday at the United Nations General Assembly debate in New York, United States. As reported by the Government Palace, the president is the seventh speaker of the day and his intervention is scheduled for 4:30 p.m.

The debate begins at 09:00 with speeches from the other heads of state and government.

Then, at 5:00 p.m., the Peruvian community meets to address the drive for the creation of a Law on the rights of Peruvians in the abroad.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday, at 11:40 a.m., Castillo meets with the Secretary General of the United Nations, António Guterres .

In the afternoon, the President and Foreign Minister César Landa attend the commemoration ceremony for the 50th anniversary of President Salvador Allende's participation in the General Assembly of UN.

At 5:00 p.m., the head of state together with the first lady, Lilia Paredes (who traveled despite facing a prosecutor's request 36 months barred from leaving the country), attend the reception organized by the President of the United States, Joe Biden.

They traveled with the president, Foreign Minister César Landa Arroyo and the Ministers of Education, Rosendo Serna; Economics and Finance, Kurt Burneo; and Foreign Trade and Tourism, Roberto Sánchez. He is also accompanied by the Permanent Representative of Peru to the UN, Manuel Rodríguez Cuadros.
