President Pedro Castillo confirmed that he will testify before the Oversight Commission of the Congress of the Republic, whose summons has been rescheduled for next Monday, June 27.

“We are talking about the Decentralized Councils, I think we are going to continue working to that extent. Next week we are in Ancash. (For) all the mayors of Arequipa, provincial, and governors, going to Lima, it is more expensive than us coming to each of the spaces ”, he expressed.

“[Will you go to Congress to testify?] Yes, we are going to attend and I must announce to you what we have done today, that there is a important bill for Arequipa, the agrarian issue for which Arequipa is an eminently agricultural region and we will see how we continue working”, he added.
