The Greater Sudbury Police Service reports that a 57-year-old woman died after being struck by a vehicle in a parking lot behind a business on Martindale Road.

In a press release, the police force mentions that officers were dispatched a little after 1 p.m. Wednesday to this parking lot

Upon arrival, Greater Sudbury Fire and Paramedic Services initiated resuscitation measures, it is reported.

The pedestrian was transported to hospital, where she was pronounced dead by medical professionals.
