And while many are eager to discover the continuation of the adventures of John Cena's Christopher Smith, the famous director James Gunn recently shared a first image of the next season of the HBO series, teasing the arrival of a brand new character.
James Gunn Teases New Character for Peacemaker Season 2
Launching in January 2022 on HBO Max (now known as Max), the Peacemaker series expanded the DC cinematic universe by focusing on a character from the 2021 film The Suicide Squad. This spin-off of James Gunn's film is therefore centered on the Peacemaker (aka Christopher Smith) played by John Cena, who won over many fans thanks to his performance in the title role.
This is why many are eagerly awaiting season 2 of the HBO series, whose release is normally scheduled after that of Gunn's next Superman film in July 2025. But to help us be patient, the American director has still given us a brief preview of the new season.

It shows a man from behind standing in front of a campfire, in what appears to be a dark forest. The image in question is accompanied by the following message: “Who might this be?”
