Pays-de-la-Loire: TER subscribers harmed by the lack of trains will be compensated

The discontent was significant. Since September 4, 17 trains have been canceled (or replaced by coaches) on important TER lines in Pays-de-la-Loire, such as Nantes-Ancenis, Nantes-Pornic and Angers-Laval. A situation which should last until October and which the SNCF explains by the immobilization of trains under repair. This Tuesday, the regional council of Pays-de-la-Loire, which considered the situation “unacceptable”, announced that it had obtained “compensation” from the carrier ; à up to 50% of the value of the subscriptions concerned, “ with simple and direct compensation terms”.
Are affected by this compensation, subscribers of the Nantes-Ancenis, Nantes-Pornic, Nantes-Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie, Nantes-Rennes via Sablé-sur-Sarthe and Nantes-La Rochelle lines. Concretely, subscribers Tutti unlimited will automatically apply a 50% discount per month, monthly and weekly Tutti subscribers will receive a digital voucher, school subscribers will receive a bank transfer.
« ; The region remains mobilized to obtain a normal restoration of service as quickly as possible and the implementation of alternative travel solutions to compensate for the service deficit,” indicates the regional council of Pays-de-la-Loire, chaired by by Christelle Morançais (Ex-LR).
