Patriot solves two problems at once: how the Armed Forces will be able to protect themselves from Russian FABs

Experts named the weapons that will allow Ukraine to stop the bombing of territories by Russian invaders. The weapons production capabilities of the Russian Federation were also assessed.

Military expert Pavlo Narozhnyi told about this on Apostrof TV.

He noted that the United States is currently discussing the possibility of transferring one Patriot system. The USA is the world's largest operator of such systems. At the same time, there is a lack of equipment in Russia, which is compensated, in particular, by the use of guided aerial bombs (ABM). And if this is not stopped, they will destroy all Ukrainian fortifications. And it is the Patriot that will be able to cope with this task.

“That's why it is necessary to shoot down planes. Russia can only produce three such planes a year. Moreover, the Patriot hits the plane's cockpit, as a result of which the pilot, who it is necessary to prepare for many years and there are not enough of them in Russia,” the expert explained.

He also commented on the destruction of the S-400 anti-aircraft system in Crimea on May 15, noting that this is a great loss for Russia.< /p>

“There are only about 50 of them. The cost of one complex is one billion dollars. A particularly valuable target is the radar, without which the complex cannot launch missiles. The targets in Crimea were hit by ATACMS >. They have cluster charges, thanks to which several targets were hit in Belbek,” the expert said.

As for the Russian defense, it works effectively only on occupied territories. Whereas there are not enough resources on the territory of Russia. Because of this, it is possible to impress Russian refineries. To date, about 15% of production has been affected, but this has not fundamentally affected the supply of troops.

He noted that the Russians can efficiently produce only simple weapons – drones and anti-aircraft missiles. They can also restore equipment from warehouses, expand the production of cruise missiles. However, they do not have one model of rockets that would be produced by the thousands.

“They produce several models at different factories that are scattered throughout Russia. Therefore, they will not be able to significantly increase production,” –
