Video identification — it is a convenient way to confirm the identity for receiving pension payments or other social benefits.

The Pension Fund of Ukraine implemented this procedure to ensure remote access to services and reduce the need to visit branches.

However, to successfully pass it, it is important to prepare all the necessary documents.

The main document certifying the pensioner's identity, — this is a passport of a citizen of Ukraine.

If the pension is intended for a child, a birth certificate will be required for identification.

In some cases, a legal representative or assistant may be involved in the procedure. In this case, the representative must present:

  • His identity document.
  • A document confirming his authority as a legal representative.

The procedure is regulated by the resolution of the Board of the Pension Fund of Ukraine dated 11/20/2023 No. 49-2, which was registered with the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine on 12/05/2023 No. 2111/41167.

It is important to remember that video identification is carried out through official channels PFU. To do this, you must have access to a stable internet connection and a device with a camera (smartphone, tablet or computer).

Algorithm of actions for passing video identification:

  1. Prepare documents (passport or birth certificate, as well as documents of the representative, if he participates in the procedure).
  2. Contact a representative of the territorial body of the Pension Fund at the specified time via video conference.
  3. Follow the specialist's instructions, showing documents to the camera for identity verification.

This procedure allows you to minimize physical contact, simplifies access to services and makes them as convenient as possible for pensioners even in the most remote corners of Ukraine.
