Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan announced readiness to make difficult decisions for the sake of establishing peace in the country. His words are quoted by RIA "Novosti".
"I am ready to make difficult decisions to guarantee long-term security, stability and peace", — he said during the government hour in the parliament.
As the prime minister noted, many can criticize him because of this, accuse him of betrayal and demand removal from power.
When he himself is sure that if this decision provides Armenia with a territory of 29.8 thousand square meters. km (the territory of the Armenian SSR) long-term peace and security, he will sign it.
“And I'm not interested in what will happen to me later”, — Pashinyan said.
According to him, Yerevan is ready to recognize the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan only if the Azerbaijani troops leave the territory of the republic.
Earlier, BAGNET reported that Pashinyan accused Azerbaijan of occupying the territory of Armenia.
