The Games of the 33rd Olympiad will be held from July 26 to August 11 and will bring together 9,000 athletes from around the world. The organizers of the competition decided to cancel the ban on any closeness between athletes, established during the coronavirus pandemic. This is reported by Sky Sports.

At the last Olympics in Tokyo, the International Olympic Committee adopted a social distancing rule. So far, the organizers have decided to remove the taboo on intimacy. It is known that they previously prepared about 300,000 free condoms for athletes to have safe sex in the Olympic village.

It is very important that there is an atmosphere of goodwill here. Working with the sports commission, we wanted to create places where athletes will feel very inspired and comfortable – stressed the director of the Olympic Village, Laurent Michaud.

By the way, the Olympic village in Paris, worth 2 billion euros, became the most expensive Olympic project. Its area is equal to the area of ​​70 football fields, and the dining room with a buffet table will stretch for 350 meters. The beds in the rooms for the Olympians are made of special super-strong cardboard that can withstand a load of up to 250 kg.
