Participants in the Sputnik V vaccine trials were given recommendations: women are prohibited from getting pregnant

The fair sex, involved in the trials of the new drug, should not get pregnant. They should also refrain from breastfeeding and donate an egg for three months after they are vaccinated. Men should not drink alcoholic beverages, they should also limit themselves to smoking. These requirements are reflected in the protocol for the clinical trial of the Gam-COVID-Vac-2020 vaccine, writes RIA Novosti, whose journalists familiarized themselves with the document. Women who become pregnant during the trial will be immediately removed from the experiment and placed under surveillance. There are also requirements for men. They should not be allowed to conceive a fetus, it is not recommended to donate sperm for the purpose of artificial insemination for the entire period of testing, as well as for the next three months.

A test batch of the domestic drug Sputnik V was put into circulation for its use last week. At the same time, the third phase of clinical trials began, and more than 30 thousand volunteers from among Russian citizens were invited to participate in them.
