The Club musical de Québec launches its season on Sunday with a concert featuring the baroque ensemble Pallade Musica.
This concert, entitled A quartet in Paris, will feature works by Georg Philipp Telemann, Jean-Baptiste Lully, Michel Blavet, Jean-Pierre Guignon and Antoine Forqueray. With music reminiscent of the era of quartets in 18th-century Parise century.
The Montreal formation, composed of Tanya LaPerrière (violin), Elinor Frey (cello), Esteban la Rotta (theorbo) and Mélisande McNabney (harpsichord), will be accompanied by Anne Thivierge on the transverse flute.
Recorded live on Sunday at 4 p.m., in the Raoul-Jobin room of the Palais Montcalm, this concert will be available for listening until February 7 at 11 p.m.
