In the Leningrad region, not far from the children's camp, several packages were found in which there were human remains. The corresponding find was made on the bank of the Syas River.
The discovery of dismembered remains in the Volkhov district became known on September 13. Sources in the law enforcement agencies of the Leningrad region inform that the day before, near the children's camp, they found a package containing severed human legs. A resident of the village of Koskenitsy stumbled upon them. The law enforcement officers who arrived found another pact in the river, in which someone placed the hands of the deceased. According to preliminary estimates, the remains are female; they could have been in the reservoir for several days.
The causes of death and the identity of the deceased will be established during the forensic examination. Also, the employees of the ICR in the Leningrad region have opened criminal proceedings, the investigation is being conducted in accordance with the article “Murder”.
