The Ottawa Police Fatal Collision Investigation Unit is seeking witnesses to a fatal collision that occurred on Tuesday.
The crash passed in the afternoon. At approximately 4:55 p.m., police were called to the 1600 block of Bank Street, south of downtown Ottawa, for a collision between a motor vehicle and an elderly person. .
The pedestrian was taken to hospital, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
Investigators would like to question anyone who may have witnessed the events or who has relevant camera data, but has not yet spoken to the police.
