The mobile operator “Kyivstar” will update a number of its services. The changes will take place from September 16 and will affect the price of the offers.

This was reported in the “Kyivstar” itself. They said that they will update:

So, starting from September 16, connecting a SIM tariff for devices will cost UAH 100 (now – UAH 50). The Smart SIM starter package will also cost UAH 100.

“We are reviewing the cost of tariffs, starter packages and other services in order to further increase investments in order to expand the network and equip it with additional power sources, generators”, – told in “Kyivstar”.

There they reminded: SIM for devices – this is a special tariff designed for remote control of smart gadgets from your mobile phone. It can be connected to a Smart SIM.

“This SIM card can be inserted into an alarm, air conditioner, GPS tracker, etc. and remotely control the smart gadget from your mobile,” – the company noted.

To connect the tariff, you need to purchase a SIM for the devices. After that:

  • insert the SIM into the smartphone and dial *929*206#;
  • top up the account with UAH 50 (the value until the future change) – this is a one-time top-up and is required to activate the tariff;
  • rearrange the SIM in the smart device you want to control.

How to update the “Kyivstar” tariff

At the same time ,  “Kyivstar” subscribers can change their tariff. It can be done in several ways – in particular, in the operator's stores.

You can also change the tariff on the “Kyivstar” website. To do this, go to the Tariffs section.

There are other ways. In particular, you can change the tariff:

  • by calling 477 or 477*1;
