A woman received a message from a stranger in a messenger with an offer of easy work on the Internet.
A resident of Kamianets-Podilskyi, who wanted to earn easy money on the Internet, became a victim of scammers.
As reported by the press service of the Kamianets-Podilskyi district police department, the woman turned to law enforcement officers last day and said that a stranger wrote to her in a messenger and offered online earnings.
The work, according to the interlocutor, consisted of investing personal funds supposedly in deposit accounts, after which they were to be returned with additional interest.
According to law enforcement officers, the Kamianets-Podilskyi resident transferred more than 78 thousand hryvnias to the scammers. However, she never received either her funds or the promised earnings.
