One UI 7 beta may be limited to Galaxy S24 models only

Samsung released the first public beta of One UI 7 in early December, then introduced the second iteration a few days later, expanding the list of countries for which the update is available, but leaving the model restrictions – Only owners of Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra smartphones can test One UI 7, and owners of other models may not wait for the beta version to be released at all, as reported by the informant FamilyTaes, writes the Neowin publication.

What else is known

It is claimed that Samsung will present the third beta version of One UI 7 between December 30 and January 6, after which it will release two or three more iterations, but they will be available only for the Galaxy S24 series, while the Galaxy S23, S22, S21 lines and A-series models will remain idle, because the preliminary testing stage is not provided for them, so owners of these smartphones will have to wait until January 22, when the stable version of One UI 7 will be presented, after which its gradual rollout will begin in a few weeks deployment.

If the information is confirmed, it would mean that Samsung has changed its approach to the One UI beta program, as its previous version, One UI 6, was available during the pre-testing phase not only for current-generation flagship devices, but also for a number of other models.
