However, Some projects have managed to be well received by the public, like the film Nicky Larson and Cupid's Perfumeby Philippe Lacheau, acclaimed both by fans of the anime broadcast in Club Dorothée and by fans of Tsukasa Hojo's manga.

Given its teeming and wacky universe, there was reason to fear that Netflix's One Piece series would fail to generate enthusiasm among fans of Eiichiro Oda's work. It is not yet known to what extent Eiichiro Oda is involved on the live-action series One Piece. Indeed, the mangaka has just finished the breathtaking Egghead arc, and is working on the conclusion of One Piece.
