The General Director of the Melitopol Railways Aleksey Efremov said that from July 1, a train service between occupied Melitopol and Crimea will be launched in test mode. This was reported by RIA "Novosti".
"Freight communication with Crimea has been launched, the infrastructure node is coming to life. From July 1, it is planned in test mode passenger service with Crimea", — Efremov said.
The publication notes that the test train will have three cars with a total capacity of 250 passengers.
In Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, payment for the fare will be accepted as in hryvnia, and in Russian rubles.
