Ukrainian rock musician Oleg Skrypka presented the new track “Nomad” for the first time in 2 years. The special feature of this premiere is that the clip was created with the help of artificial intelligence.
The new track “Nomad” tells the story of a hero, a traveling warrior, who dreams of returning to his home. The incredible clip is now available on YouTube.
This clip is not just a visualization of a piece of music. This is an attempt to understand the inner world of the hero and his difficult and unpredictable path.
The song “Nomad” also has an English-language version aimed at European and American listeners.
This video is about each of us, about the path of every Ukrainian – a Cossack-warrior who realizes that his main mission now is the defense of his native land. And the Ukrainian land appears in the image of a woman and carefully weaves that magical chain mail that will save the warrior-traveler, the musician explained.
The video was directed by Alina Dianova, known for her videos for Italian singer Andrea Bocelli, Canadian singer David Foster, the band Druga Rika and others. In the process of creating the clip, Dianova's team sought to introduce innovative techniques into the world of musical cinematography, partly using artificial intelligence, which became a key element for creating visual effects.
“Nomad” is an allegorical journey into the world Ukrainian myths in the context of modern realities. We feel that every viewer will find something special, personal and exciting in this work, the director noted.
Filming took place in the augmented reality and virtual production studio One Location xR studio, in the process of which photorealistic virtual spaces were used as backgrounds on LED screens, the boundaries of which were expanded and combined with real built landscape scenes, props and scenery.

“Nomad” is an emotional war epic that tells the story of a hero, a traveling warrior, who dreams of returning home. From ancient times, nomads who traveled the world were called nomads. But there are also modern nomads: they sacrifice comfort, stability and coziness for the sake of an important goal.
2024 will be a special year for Oleg Skrypka. The musician will celebrate his 60th anniversary with a big concert together with the NAONI orchestra. This year also marks the 20th anniversary of the famous ethno-festival “Land of Dreams”.
