After revision, it is finally an average increase of 4.4% of the tax bill that was voted on Monday by elected officials.
Mayor Richard Violette justifies this increase by setting up three projects.
“We are going to hire an engineer who will put together a five-year plan for the repair of our roads. We are going to renovate the basement of the town hall to transform it into a community hall and finally, we will create an emergency fund for the installation of high speed Internet in the municipality ”, he listed. .
Ogden City Council approved on December 18 a tax increase of 21% on average for its taxpayers.
