Odessa woman sold her nude photos to police for 5,000 hryvnias and ended up in court

On January 10, the Suvorovsky District Court of the city of Odesa considered the case of an Odesa woman accused of distributing pornography, committed repeatedly. The court case documents state that the woman made 5 sales of her nude photos and videos, as well as her genitals through a private Telegram channel. 5 control purchases were made by the police, spending 5,000 hryvnias.

The accused admitted her guilt and reported that in October last year, having financial difficulties, she decided to create her own photos and videos of a pornographic nature, which she stored on her mobile phone and to which she gave access to other people through her own telegram -channel, after transferring funds to her bank card.

The court sentenced the woman from Odessa to imprisonment for 3 years. But taking into account sincere remorse, the absence of other offenses before this trial, as well as the presence of two children, the court released the woman from serving the main sentence of imprisonment with probation – with an examination period of 1 year. But she was still banned for 1 year from engaging in activities related to the storage, placement and distribution of works, images, film and video products via the Internet, as well as using information – of the telecommunication system.
